All of the requirements below must be met before the Nigerian visa is issued on your passport.

*Minor (5-17 YEARS): are required to complete a biometric process in person.

​

All applicants are required to show up at our office for a final verification before arriving at the biometric center.​

   Required Documents

• Visa applications will be denied for any applicant holding a passport that expires in less than six months

• A scanned copy of the child's birth certificate.

• Scanned copies of both parents' identification.

• Scanned copy of US passport data page.

​

   Consent Letter

• A letter of consent must be signed and notarized by both parents.

• The letter must confirm that the lawful custodial parent and/or non-custodial parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child give consent.

• The letter must specify the accompanying person traveling to Nigeria with the child.

• The letter must be addressed to the Consulate of Nigeria, Atlanta.

   Travel Itinerary

• A scanned copy of your return flight ticket (itinerary) is required.

​

   Photograph

• Each applicant must provide a scanned copy of one recent passport photograph.​

​

   Supporting Documents

• A scanned copy of both parents' identification. The application must also include the data pages of either a Nigerian or US passport data page of both parents.

​

   Consent Letter

• A letter of consent must be signed and notarized by both parents. This letter should state that the lawful custodial parent and/or non-custodial parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child give consent. The letter must specify the accompanying person traveling to Nigeria with the child and must be addressed to the Consulate of Nigeria, Atlanta.

• A scanned copy of the applicant's return flight ticket (itinerary) must be provided.

• After submitting all documents via email kindly make your payment using the instructions below, as your documents will be processed before your biometrics capturing appointment.

• Making your payment after sending your documents will give more time to schedule your biometric appointment.

• All applicants are required to show up at our office for a final verification before arriving at the biometric center.​ (Come along with all the physical documents as well)

 

​Processing time will start once all required documents are received. Any missing requirements will delay the visa processing.
